The popularity of the album is what made it sell so much that it attained a gold or platinum status in various countries across the world. However, it did not book a place in the US top-40. One of the songs in the voodoo lounge album, “Love is Strong”, only found a place at no 14 in the United Kingdom charts, together with “You Got Me Rocking” which was number TWENTY THREE. These became some of their favorite songs played in their tours worldwide. In 1995, the album won a Grammy Award as the “Best Rock Album”.
