You will need the following ingredients as you prepare to prepare your voodoo wings:
- Whole chicken wings equivalent to 1 lb in weight.
- Cajun seasonings like ‘King Craw” or ‘Killer Hogs” (choose one).

- ONE stick butter
- TWO Tablespoons of minced onion
- TWO cloves of minced garlic
- A HALF cup of dark brown sugar
- TWO oz dark rum
- TWO oz of any choicest hot sauce
- TWO tablespoons of crushed red pepper
- ONE cup of any choicest vinegar sauce
Follow the directions below
- set the Charcoal alight using Tumbleweed
- Season both sides of the wings
- Place wings around wood and grill
- Make voodoo wings sauce. In order to do so, you will use medium heat to melt butter in a saucepan. After that, add garlic and onion and cook for between TWO to THREE minutes. Add red pepper flakes, dark brown sugar and rum. Cook it off the alcohol for between FIVE to SEVEN minutes in reduced heat. Set it off from the heat, add vinegar and hot sauce. Put it in a jar until you are ready to use it.
- Remove the wings from the grill the moment the internal temperatures have reached 165. Allow it to cook for approximately ONE hour until the internal temperature is set at 190 so that the bones can be removed easily.
- Toss them in the voodoo wings sauce.
